Michelle Brodbeck, Data Education Coordinator

Michelle Brodbeck joined Shelter Animals Count in January 2023 and now serves as the Technical Product Manager. Michelle has been working and volunteering with animals since 2010. After volunteering for six years, she committed to starting a career in animal welfare. In 2016, Michelle began her journey with Best Friends Animal Society, working on Community Cat Programs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.

Michelle spent several years as Community Cat Program Manager for People for Animals in New Jersey. Her experience in community engagement and program development sparked her passion for data and its potential to improve animal welfare. As Technical Product Manager, Michelle focuses on enhancing data collection, API development, and leveraging technology to support shelters.

Michelle lives in Asbury Park, New Jersey, with her dog Navi and in her free time, she enjoys the beach, running, and live music.
